Shipping is free in the United States. The cost of shipping for international orders varies according to the destination. All of our items are sent via UPS or FedEX, fully insured, and require a signature for delivery. We will send you a tracking number once your package is shipped.

We do not offer returns for custom jewels. Please note that return shipping is the customer's responsibility and we require an insured shipping label.

In purchasing Thesis Gems and Jewelry you are investing in the highest quality materials. To protect your jewelry as it is passed through generations, we are happy to provide care recommendations.

Prior to wearing your jewelry, please apply all cosmetics, lotions and scent. Let them fully set and dry. Exposure of chemicals of any kind has the potential to alter the appearance of your jewelry, depending on the materials.

Avoid wearing jewelry in the water.

Generally, jewelry can be safely cleaned easily with a soft and dry cloth and stored in the linen and pouch provided by us. Store jewelry separately as different pieces can abrade each other.

Specifically, Diamonds can be cleaned with a pH neutral soap and a very soft toothbrush, and then dried with a soft, dry cloth.

Pearls and opals are naturally softer, more delicate and vulnerable to breaking and chipping. Fine scratches may occur.

Please check all settings yearly for any looseness. Most importantly, we hope you thoroughly enjoy the daily experience of wearing your jewelry.

Each item is made by hand in the San Francisco Bay Area by master goldsmiths with substantial, solid fabrication. Slight variations may occur, giving your jewelry a unique fingerprint.

Our packaging is custom-made by Glaser Designs, a leather crafting company in San Francisco. Each pouch is handmade from grass-fed and vegetable dyed cowhide and fitted with a brass button — a piece of art in its own right.
